Mentioned nickel in regard to human health: The RA on nickel and four nickel compounds was tabled for discussion at TC NES II '04.  The meeting agreed on main outstanding issues like the occupational exposure section, and it was decided not to ask for further testing (skin and eye irritation) nor for mutagenicity.

For all compounds the risk characterisations were concluded with minor revisions.  However, the final conclusions are pending an agreement on the classification expected at the CMR group meeting in September 2004.  The section on "humans via the environment" has not yet been included, as this is awaiting the environmental risk assessment.
